Thanks Doug - this bloom is actually in my next door neighbor's lily bed which is next to the sidewalk. They have quite a variety of day lilies and I take advantage of that when the good stuff gets good light like this one. This is handheld at 400mm 1/500s f/9.0 @ISO160 so a quick walk by snatch shot
