Alan - No, this is from after the workshop was over. My wife joined me after the workshop and we enjoyed the city as tourists for a few days. One day she wanted to shop for a few hours, so I rode the L train around the downtown loop and jumped off at every stop. It was fun!

And a gold mine for interesting studies in shadows and lines. Sounds like a neat trip.
