I'm heading to The Grand Canyon for my first real photo trip there in March (I was there for one day of hiking many years ago). I'm thinking of going down the Bright Angel trail to Indian Garden Campground for a night, getting up early the next morning to hit Plateau Point for sunrise, then hiking out. Has anyone done that? Think it was worth it? Photo advice? I'm pretty familiar with hiking conditions at that time of year and will be well prepared.
We are also planning on visiting Petrified Forest next, so any advice on that would also be appreciated.
