Hoodoos in Salt Valley

I have to confess that I shot this from a rest stop... does that count?

I do not see the rest stop in your image. Therefore it does not exist for my eyes and the view is pretty nice. I like the contrast between the local hoodoos up front and the red sandstone formations behind.

I do some of my best work at rest stops. And once I hiked down to the White Rim from up on the Island above and liked that rest stop so much I took a picture of it.

Sometimes the best shots come from rest stops. This is certainly an impressive view. I like the different planes of light and colour in this view.
