I found some Treasure

Well, I found it at Treasure Island in Laguna Beach. This is a fun little area, not far from a fancy hotel so if you don't like lot's of people, this won't be the place for you. But it's still a fun area and one where you can get isolated shots pretty easily. The tide is the key as in a lot of beaches, but especially here, if the tide is too high, most of the beach disappears including these cool tide pools.

To the extent you can get isolated shots in spite of having people around isn't all that horrible. I like the visible orb sinking on the horizon contrasting with the greens down in front.

Thanks Alan, the greens are a treasure all to themselves too. They aren’t all that common but I do like the color contrast they provide when they do show up.
