IC 4606 Antares Nebula and Neighbors

A colorful galactic neighborhood featuring the red supergiant Antares, globular cluster NGC 6144, and dark nebulae LDN 1681,1690,1689 and 1709 to name a few.
This is a 2-panel mosaic featuring a total of 60Lx240s 131R 116G 110B x 300s for a total integration time of 33.75hrs if my math is correct. So much color left to capture in the surroundings so the next project will be 6 panels.

How timely Carlos! I just shot the same area a few nights ago out at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. I went a bit larger then this, but my focus was trying to capture some detail on Globular Cluster M4.

I like your gradient of color from yellow through Orange in the main body. What a fun 2 panel mosaic.

Ha ! What's the saying ? Great minds think a like...but I don't qualify lolz. Yeah my small sensor only allows me so much fov so I have to work harder but I'm up for it ! I'm pretty sure it's more yellow in the region I have as predominantly red but a bit of artistic license can never go astray haha ! Cheers Jim !
