Wow...I never knew Idaho had so much landscape beauty and variety. I want to go! I just kind of thought of Idaho as a place where potatoes grow.

That was very good! Also check out "Rocky Mountain Fly Highway" . Wonderful exploration of fly fishing destinations along 500 miles of US Highway 20 between Yellowstone and into eastern Oregon. Some awesome scenery, makes me want to make the drive!

Driving across southern Idaho is a far cry from fantastic scenery but head north and things change in a hurry for the better.

As a one time resident of North Idaho, I can tell you it is beautiful up there, Lots of streams and rivers and forests. Down around Stanley you have some pretty great mountains and of course the Tetons border between Wyoming and Idaho.
