Ilwaco Docks

I took a walk along the docks in Ilwaco, Washington on Sunday morning. This is the town that my grandmother grew up in, after her family settled there about 150 years ago. I liked this view of the water, boats and the red buildings from the local fish company.

Any thoughts are welcome.

This is great Kyle, nice leading lines with the dock and the water. Not too fond of the modern house on the hill, but it is what it is.

I like the scene - and always have since I go out to Cape Disappointment a lot. The reds really stand out.

How bad was the fishing boat traffic in town over the weekend? There are times when almost the whole length of the road going through town is lined with trucks with empty boat trailers attached and that's usually on weekends like this last one.
