I thought I would show you my immaculate bird feeding station, it comprises of spikes for half Apples, and Peanut filled ones hanging from a clothesline for acrobatic antics, which the Sparrows love, a frame to hold coloured background cards, a lump of driftwood, a water sprayer, a brush and innumerable bits that I was to idle to clear away. I nearly forgot, I can put birdseed anywhere, even on the lounge carpet, now for some images randomly taken on auto. with a pancake lens.

That's super cool Jon! I really like your creativity with this. I need to set something like this up too.

There are a few problems Jim Bright overcast light is a must have and to get focus on a swinging apple is next to impossible.

Nice setup for shooting.

We used to have a lot of feeders around for birds and squirrels but we ended up with too many critters around and they were starting to damage our house.

Very interesting. It looks like the background is a reasonable distance away and should also be nice when using a shallow dof.
