Jerusalem Temple Mount

I snuck away from our tour early one morning to head into Old Jerusalem and photograph the Western Wall and Temple Mount. Unfortunately they are doing construction and there's a giant crane in the way of any wider view shots. Still have the detail of the Dome of the Rock and Western Wall. Including a wider shot for grins as well.

Any thoughts are welcome

2) They say the crane is Israel's national bird...

Very cool Kyle! That crane is a bad distraction, so definitely #1 is the way to go. That's some cool light in the early morning light.

Hard to avoid that national bird as well as the scaffolding right behind it in #2. It might have been early enough to escape the tour but the morning crowd is already building up. I like the early morning timing so the lights emphasize the Western Wall over the city behind it.

Yeah, the scaffolding is a big part of the reason why I didn't want to bother with the massive clone work to get rid of the crane.
