Joshua's Wildflowers

On Friday, I drove into the Southern Sierra for work on a road I had never used before. I was greeted with an astonishing wildflower superbloom amongst thick groves of Joshua trees, so I decided to return on Sunday so I could wander around these steep slopes to properly photograph them. I had it to myself.

Wow - that is almost a shock to the system compared to what that place usually looks like. Beautiful set of images to show off these blooms. Not sure I want to try to pick out a favorite as I love them all.

These are so awesome! You scored big time! I like them all, I am not sure I could pick a favorite as each one becomes my favorite when I scroll to them.

And while scrolling I am trying to picture in my head where you captured these at, your only clue is a pretty wide area. But it's still a fun mental exercise to run through the possible area's.

Good eye on seeing these, and good job going back to capture them.

Great series - number 3 stands out to me. The flowers seem so out of place next to the Joshua Trees, like they just fell out of the sky and landed there. Returning to the scene really paid off big for you!
