Just Before Yankee Boy Basin

Before you get to Yankee Boy Basin in SW Colorado, there is a turn off for Imogene Pass, and pretty tough 4x4 trail. There also happens to be a nice area to photograph Sneffels Creek there with wildflowers. So every time I go up to Yankee Boy, I stop here to work this little area.

Nice collection of wildflowers down in front. The falls look like a good candidate for a long lens session. I like the high elevation forest.

Yeah, it's an area I visit several times a year, I can't get enough of it.
