Wow - great view and the B&W processing looks neat. Exceptional light for this scene.

thanks alan. the badlands can be pretty bland looking during the day, but the evening really brings out a different world.

This image appears otherworldly—as though the earth would be seen in this night sky. Great image!

thanks. badlands always looks a little like an alien planet. guess that's why it's one of my favorite places.
Super cool, love the layers. This shows why the Badlands has become one of my favorite locations, and one that I make sure I get to at least 2 or 3 times a year now.
I would crop off the bottom though. Lose that very bottom ridge that is lit up with light. It doesn't fit the lighting of the rest of the ridges, so the eye is getting drawn to it. A 4x5 format crop would be perfect.
