Last Two From Teton

Sharing two ore from my sunrise at Schwabacher Landing. I had set up for a composition I had scouted the previous evening, but once I felt the light on the mountains had peaked I switched to a tighter view, eliminating the foreground and focusing on just the mountains and reflections. Then I ran to the beaver ponds to take a shot there while the light was still good. The trees definitely block a lot of the view at this point, but it is still a beautiful scene.

Any thoughts are welcome.

I like the light in both of these and the summer sun angle is good for these views.

How were the crowds?
Really not bad. I arrived an hour before sunrise and had it to myself (and the wildlife) for half an hour. I had no trouble running over to the beaver ponds and getting whatever composition I wanted.

Wow - when I visited there with Ben, Rick, and Jim in the fall of 2018 the place was packed although that was on a weekend.

I think a lot of photographers target autumn. Most of this crowd were just watching sunrise or using their phones. I only saw a few other tripods

Makes sense - the autumn crowd was almost entirely sporting tripods and came close to lining the entire bank along the beaver pond.

These two are quite appropriate at finishing up your series Kyle. Two really pleasant images from a place most of us know well.

Very Nice. The first one is my fave. The colors, reflection & the leading line, cross-frame

Both are spectacular! You should be very pleased. I am partial to #1 though just barely....the tighter comp seems to focus on the light, the tetons and the reflection.
