Let's Go Fly a Kite

I came to capture the mountains and clouds but having this kite flyer and his kite in the frame was the icing on the cake.

Not a sight I am used to seeing as a winter sport but all you need is wind and it looks like there is plenty of that. Nice serendipity shot.

@AlanLichty and @JimFox - thanks to both. It was also an unusual kite. Like a miniature parachute that they use to fly into stadiums. The wind proved too variable and they couldn't keep it in the air for long.

I was wondering if it was like a small parasail from the look of it.
