I really have to use my imagination to see any resemblance between these rocks and their namesake. But it sure is a pretty sight from the Cascade Highway in Washington. 590nm converted Nikon Z5. I cannot explain the weak purple color above the peak, but it's there in every CWB I tried, weird.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a palette with this landmark in IR but you surprised me with the blue trees. Interesting take on this scene.

I have never quite made out what inspired the name for these monoliths either.

I more often than not do a red-blue channel swap on these to end up with a blue sky. Not this time.
