I agree Kevin. Did you have to increase exposure on the bird in camera or in post? I find my subject is often underexposed and yours looks perfect.

Same question as Trent about the exposure and processing. I usually get a very dark bird as almost a silhouette before processing with a backdrop like this. Very nice result in this image.

Thank you Trent and Alan. Normally I'd add exposure compensation as I was shooting, and it varies up to 3 stops, but I forgot in this shot and had to add 1.8 stops in Lightroom.
Although it's better to add it during shooting, I find it easy to add in Lightroom as I always shoot in RAW. The ISO was at 400 so the noise wasn't such a problem.
