Little Corona

This is Little Corona beach in Corona Del Mar in SoCal. I took 2 of my grandkids there the other day. It was their first time there, and they liked it, but told me they preferred Huntington Beach.

Neat scene with the incoming wave. As a kid I always preferred Corona Del Mar with all the little tide pools to play in instead of the endless sand at Huntington.

I am with you on the tide pools being cool and more interesting. As an adult HB had been my favorite for years because it was a longer stretch of beach. You can run close to 20 miles on the sand between Newport Beach and Seal Beach, which is what I did on Saturdays back in the day. The running in Corona Del Mar area has a few more obstacles, but I still would run there occasionally, especially if it was getting close to sunset, so I would already be there to photograph.

Thanks Beth! It took a polarizer and an 0.7 ND to get my shutter speed low enough.
