Love those trees next to the bridge. I will attest to the fact that those are the true colors you see firsthand standing where this shot was taken.

Are you still an active photography member Zeph? I haven't been in the Gardens since they first started remodeling a few years back and haven't seen what got changed yet.

I was a member and supporter for about 10 years, but I let it lapse in 2015. As with anything in the world of photography, the gardens have become very popular and crowded even with off-hour access. The engagement rules have become very limiting, as far as where one can shoot from, understandably more people means less access. The Gardens always supported and promoted photography because of the world wide recognition it received.
I know much of the work was to build a better environment for the Koi Fish, not sure how that ended up.

The last images I have from there are in November of 2013. I don't recall my membership anniversary date but I let it lapse in 2014 when Portland rearranged all the parking in the area started charging for parking at the Gardens. I always thought it would be good to join back after retiring knowing I could do the morning photo member hours on week days instead of weekends but traffic is so bad in the mornings anymore I can't imagine trying to fight my way into downtown for that.
