I had not expected to be able to see the lunar eclipse last week--the weather forecast called for cloud until suddenly that changed on the morning of the event--so I was a bit unprepared, but I managed to get myself situated on a favourable spot as the moon was set to rise. Unfortunately, there was a bit of low cloud that obscured the moon as it rose above the horizon, so it was only visible after it reached about 10 degrees or so.
