M16 "Eagle Nebula" Wide-Field Narrowband

While my new SCT was shooting several targets with my new tri-band filter, my trusty 80mm refractor was targeting a single target for the whole night. I decided to shoot M16 to give me a comparison with the field of view through this scope and that of my reflector, which also included M16 in the night's lineup. Unlike the reflector, my refractor is fitted with a monochrome camera so I shot this through the usual narrowband filters (hydrogen-alpha, oxygen-iii and sulphur-ii), shooting at both 300 seconds and 600 seconds (to see which would work out the best--600 seconds definitely had the upper hand).

Like the wider field a lot as there is plenty going on around the main part of the nebula that gets captured in a wider view like this.

That worked out well. It's great that you can shoot but the 8" and the 80mm at the same time.
