Mallard Duck

I was approaching a grassy lake edge at a local park, when I spotted several ducks nestled down in the long grass. as I approached closer to the area one of the mallards stood up in a sunny spot and posed for me for several minutes. The other ducks remaind hunkered down in the tall grass. After a few minutes and several shots I walked away and the duck laid back down.

Hi Jim, thanks for your comments, appreciated as always.
Actually I was using a 500mm lens for this shot hand held, that's why I was glad she was still so long!
