We had rainy weather for the last couple of days in the Flathead Valley, but it looked like the clouds would begin to clear around sunset yesterday. I decided to head over the the McClarty Barn, which I had never photographed, and see if I could get some nice light with the mountains in the background. As it turned out, the clouds had one last hurrah in store, drenching the area about an hour before sunset while throwing off the occasional lightning bolt. The rain stopped (or at least mostly slowed) in time to capture some sunset light behind the old barn, facing in the opposite direction I had planned.
Any thoughts are welcome.
