I do like the misty view down the valley in the first one but the second one with the early fall tints grab my attention a little longer.

Love that first one, in particular, Zeph. I always visit here when in Alberta and it never lets one down. Spooky,mysterious and a habitat for wildlife - not to mention the Indian name taken from it's annual "disappearance". You have caught its wonderful atmosphere in both of these!

The rocks have a grey appearance, the annual grasses survive the months of snow and then submersion when the lake fills up in the spring. The above shots are from the north looking south, the lakes main tributaries are in the south. There is no visible channel out of the lake, so in essence the shore is a pile of rocks that the water flows through.
