Medusa

Capsicum annuum Medusa is an ornamental chili pepper usually grown for looks but is also edible. This specimen was on display at a nursery looking quite nice so I grabbed a shot. A good occasion to be shooting with an iPhone for the required depth of field at close range.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the title of Medusa. My mind didn't even think flowers. So this is a new one for me. It's a cool and different flower.
