Looks like Mouse's Tank Rd. right at Kaolin Wash with Crazy Hill on the left and Fire Wave behind the rocks just off the screen to the right.

We actually did the hike to fire wave but I wasn't all that impressed with it .

You need overcast skies to really tease the color out of the Fire Wave. Getting creative with framing shots is also necessary as it doesn't lend itself to wide angle shots at all.

Hey Darcy, this is very creative on your part and very flexible on Teresa's part!

Teresa should post the shot she took while you shot here in this thread. I think it will be a real interesting contrast in showing the difference there can be between shooting wide and shooting tighter. (The one Teresa posted in your FB thread if Teresa is listening)

If she is not I will tell her . Yes it is quite a different view from mine for shooting the same thing. That is what I love about photography. Two photog's can shoot the same thing and both will have different interpretations .
