Milky Way Arch and Moonrise

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I have posted on here! I've been super busy with work, school, and the possibility of starting my own little business. I've still managed to get out and shoot when I have time, so I have quite a few images saved up that haven't hit this forum yet.

This is my most recent image from Eagle Rock in Lake Tahoe where I captured the moonrise below the arch of the Milky Way! I'd been after this one for years but every time I wanted to get this image I have either been too busy or the weather doesn't work out. Luckily this week I am on spring break, there was fresh coat of snow, no clouds, and hardly any wind, so it couldn't have worked out any better. I am crazy happy to have finally snagged this one and get it crossed off my list!

This pano consists of 9 stacked images at f/1.8, 20 seconds, and ISO 640. *Sony's ISO invariance is a lifesaver for this photo!*

Hope you all are well!

C&C welcome!

Hey Josh,

I came across your card on my desk as I was packing up for the solar eclipse, so you have been on my mind.

You are certainly busy, I am glad you got out and captured this Milky Way. You did a great job!

And for sure ISO invariance sure can come in handy from time to time. :)

Hey thanks Jim! Good luck with the eclipse, can't wait to see what images you get!
