Milky Way Over Medicine Bow

This was taken the night before the eclipse at camp. The Milky Way was extremely bright and there were many shooting stars throughout the night. I have more to process but will probably leave those for tomorrow. I'll post them in this thread when I finish them.

This is a single 25 second image. Camera used was a Nikon D600 and Samyang 14mm F2.8 lens.

Hey Andrew,

Welcome to FocalWorld! It's really great to have you join us here. I have enjoyed your photos for many years now, so it will be great to continue enjoying them here. I definitely need to make time to meet up with you, even if it's for some frozen custard at Culvers when I am in Colorado next month.

This is a cool shot of the Milky way, it seems like Milky way season, I know I have been shooting it a lot. That Samyang 14 f2.8 is sure a good lens for shooting the stars.

Great image. To me it looks like the Milky Way just burst down from the sky...
