Missing for 59 years....

CF-JDO is found and retrieved from Peter Pond Lake, SK. The left side photo is not mine, and I don't have any other photos of the salvage.

Ray Gran, (the pilot) left, is seen on Aug. 10, 1959, in the background is the Cessna 180 which disappeared ten days after the photo was taken.

This plane certainly looks worse for wear.

This plane does not appear to be very airworthy. The surface does display a long term relationship between this part of the aircraft and the mud in the lake.

The aircraft did come up out of the water largely in one piece, the motor is still missing; they will go back to look for it next winter. The aircraft was cut apart to get it all onto the trailer to bring in home.
