Misty Morning

There is just nothing like a misty foggy morning at Mt Rainier. This is in the Paradise area which was full of wildflowers.

Paradise must be the wildflower champ. I know what you mean about misty, one trip I never saw Rainier at all. These great mountain meadows with the firs popping up here and there against a fog are very moody and calming. Very nice image.

I love the leaf textures for the wildflowers in the foreground center. That and the lush greens that come out when the sun doesn't.

I love Paradise Meadows and you have done a great job of portraying it, Jim. I have spent many hours photographing there and this image brings back the feeling of the quiet and the mist on my face. Now I want to go back and review my images from there. Beautiful work.
