I can see now from 2 feet to infinity. After 70+ years being nearsighted, I am now the opposite. Takes some getting used to not being able to hold stuff close and see it clearly. But I am testing 20/25 in both eyes and they say it will improve over the next month.

Color is much better, more saturation, better contrast and wow, greens are greener, yellowers more yellow, red more red. I don't need to pump up saturation contrast or clarity in processing. Be sure to test the fixed eye against the unfixed eye after they do the first. This is the dramatic test.

I can drive without glasses, but I need readers now. I have to learn how to use the camera all over however. I can focus great through the viewfinder (never could before). But I need glasses or a Hoodman for the LCD or even to see the camera controls.

I can see the computer screen without glasses, but need them for the keyboard.

I think I will get blended bifocals anyway because they have a more seamless change than wearing half glasses.

Thanks for the information, Ben. I'm a little timid about doing this.

It's pretty safe, and it's pretty fast. I was in and out of surgery in 20 minutes and fully conscious. But I did develop floaters in the first eye. I have had them before and they eventually go away.

I have had floaters for at least thirty years and they have never gone away. It's like the invasion of Normandy. Maybe they are different floaters over that time period. I just don't pay attention to them.
