I was up in the Eastern Sierra catching the Moonrise and Moonset a few years back. In this one it was one day before ideal timing, but the light clouds diffuses the moon while the sun was still strong enough to light up the foreground. The foreground might seem too bright to some, but that was the result of a Long Exposure gathering more light and having the sun still bright enough behind me to provide a light source.
