More Delicate Arch

Here are a couple of "late afternoon" shots of Delicate Arch to go along with the sunset shots I shared previously. The La Sal mountains are more visible in these as the clouds had not fully engulfed them yet. Just for grins, I'm including a twilight image as well. Any thoughts are welcome.

1) Delicate afternoon

2) Wider view showing more of the "bowl" and surrounding features. It helped that almost nobody else was up there on this afternoon

3) Twilight at the arch

Your afternoon shot looks almost exactly like the Utah license plates. I like the tight view with the snowy backdrop. The twilight shot is an interesting take on the scene too.

Great images Kyle. Love the more golden light in #1 and 2.

While #1 doesn't have any nuclear sunset color behind it, I have always found that Delicate Arch in the late afternoon with a few clouds in the sky perhaps is a stronger image then when it does have sunset colors behind it. For one, the arch at that point is in shadow, and that loses something in the image. The arch being lit by the low light and turning that golden color I think is equally as strong as when there are clouds turning pink or red behind it.
