Images taken on various trips to Iona, a small Island off the western coast of Scotland.

To get to Iona you need to sail to Mull, travel across Mull and then get another Ferry to Iona.
These old wooden fishing boats are drawn up on the shore at Salen on Mull

Finally to Iona which has a rich history with a medievel Abbey burial ground for Scottish kings including Macbeth.
This is the bay at the back f the ocean on the west coast. Thirty minutes after this image we were hit by a snowstorm.

Lastly a sunset with the sea flat calm again, not always the case.

Really good work Ken. I felt I was traveling with you on this one. That waterfall in #1 is so very cool. And the boat shots, that is just something we don’t have over here.

Neat stuff, Ken! Really like your Glen Orchy image. I got to visit there back in '06, with very similar gloomy conditions!

With the first, the comp excels with the water path through the image and frosty air that surrounds a colorless scene except for FG grass.
Beautiful scene and well composed.
