More Silo Love

Here are 3 from New Mexico from November. You might recognize the silo's and the trains. It had been raining so the colors especially on the ground are saturated and have that wet dirt look. The shots might be similar but they were distinctive choices I made.

Interesting how they built out the tracks to load and assemble unit trains (single product) for the product. Some of the unit trains that pass through and/or load/unload in the Portland/Vancouver area rail yards are well over a mile long - especially for grain. This set of sidings doesn't look like it could handle something that long.

Yeah, it looks like they can only handle maybe a dozen on each track, though with 3 lines I guess that adds up a bit, but it's definitely a smaller operation.
