Mt. Rainier in Glass

I posted some pictures of pieces of beautiful stained glass I bought to do this mosaic. Just got it done and hung under my back deck where I can see it from my computer right now. Glass is glued to a 20" x 30" window, then coated with resin. The black mat is digital to frame this web version.

If I tried that there would likely be parts of the scene splashed with red from slicing my fingers up on the glass pieces :D

Nice art.

There is a bit of chromatic halo aberration and you might want to clean up that sensor noise...

Awesome work Jim.

Thanks for all the comments. I tried to do that Zeph, but ACR doesn't work with this type of file yet, maybe the next update! Alan, I wear very thin garden gloves most of the time, so there isn't a fear of cutting yourself - experts go bare. It's very intimidating when you start working with glass like this, but with good tools you are slicing and dicing it to size within an hour.

I'm pretty happy with this as a first project but I have enough of the expensive sky & mt. glass to do another slightly smaller version where I'm going to change up some elements. Not as easy as layer adjustments and reprinting:oops:
