Mt. Shuksan from Artists Point

My wife was quite cooperative posing for me in this dual portrait of her and Mt. Shuksan from near the end of the short and easy Artists Point trail. I had a 55mm on my Sony A7rII so shot this as a pano of 4 verticals. I do wish I had a bit more water at the bottom to balance it. The dusting of new snow on this brisk fall day was the frosting on the cake.

You are making me want to go up there to shoot. I went up there once just over 10 years ago and most of the peaks were shrouded in clouds. This is a stunning view of Shuksan.

Agree with Ben. Been up there a few times and have similar compositions - more summer and fall time. The touch of snow adds additional interest.

The person on the rocks distract rather than add to the image.

Hey Jim,

That dusting of snow is so cool looking and combine it with the dusting of clouds in the sky and you have a great combination.

I ageee with you a little more breathing room would have been nice, maybe you will have to shoot a 2 row pano next time. :)
