My morning at Venus Pools

I spent a couple of hours this morning at a local nature reserve called Venus Pools. I could have and would have spent all day there if I could! So relaxing. Here are 5 of my favourites

Kingfisher
Heron
Little Egret
Sandpiper
Tufted Duck

Thank you. I loved sitting by the waters edge with no one around but birds. Very good for your mental health. I’m definitely going to make more time to do it more often

Thank you I think that’s my favourite too. I managed to get plenty of shots in but seeing as the etiquette is 5 per post I chose my 5 favourites. I’ll post some others later

You're getting some good shots of different birds, well done. Just a suggestion, but generally bird shots look a lot better if they have more room to look into, so for example, the kingfisher would look better if it was more to the right with the open space on the left for it to look into. Central birds don't have any dynamics.
The Sandpiper is a Common Sandpiper.
