My version of the Tulip Nebula with Cygnus X-1 shockwave

Maybe I am dreaming of spring already. I enjoy the SH2-101 Tulip Nebula.

I think the capture includes the shockwave showing above and just to the right of the tulip.
The black hole in the Cygnus X-1 system began life as a star approximately 60 times the mass of the sun and collapsed tens of thousands of years ago. (via Earthsky dot Org)

That does looks like the shockwave! The Tulip Nebula is certainly one of the more fascinating nebula I think due to it's really unique shape. You have me dreaming of Christmas and hopefully a GoTo Mount for me under the tree.

There is certainly a lot of red glow outside the main nebula, beautiful image.
