Narrows in Monochrome

And here's the last in my series of B&W photos from 2017. This was taken at the end of October in Zion's Narrows. I figured the various textures would render nicely in B&W.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Did you do the whole thing or up and down? 3 years ago my wife and I wanted to do a two day from the top, but the water was a bit too high for her, so we did a long day from the bottom, her favorite hike of the trip.

Thanks Jeffrey. I hear you about the crop. My struggle is that I really like the way those rocks at the bottom lead into the scene. I'll play with it a little more.

We did the round trip hiking from the bottom. It's awfully hard to make it very far with photo ops around every corner!

Really nicely done, Kyle! Maybe a slight contrast boost will add a little more pop but as-is I think it's a very good looking image.
