Most every US state has plenty of roadside attractions, but I really like how Nevada has established itself as the "weird art" spiritual center. This is in Rhyolite, just east of Death Valley. It is known as "Lady Desert: the Venus of Nevada". She stands 25 feet tall and is constructed of cinder blocks.

Nothing quite screams Natural the way brightly painted cinder blocks do out in the middle of the desert

Rhyolite already had some weird artwork around so this fits right in.

It's been a while since I have been to Rhyolite, I don't recall seeing this the last time I was there, or maybe she didn't have her makeup on then?
