Newfoundland Bull Moose

If you ever the chance to visit Newfoundland and Labrador, and I HIGHLY recommend a visit, you will likely see lots of moose - cows, bulls and calves. In fact, it is highly recommended not to drive at night for fear of hitting a moose. This was taken in harsh light near midday so I have processed to try to reduce the harshness of the light.

You did a good job of taming the light - this looks quite nice. He has a very impressive rack of antlers and looks quite healthy. I would definitely not wish to run into one of these while driving.

I agree, you did an awesome job taming the lights. Sometimes too much taming brings in some weird artifacts and a gray tone to it. But this looks totally normal. So good work on that.

I like the clear image of the moose as well, it's almost as if you were 10 feet away from it since there is no foreground grasses really obscuring the moose.

Ditto your comments on visiting Newfoundland. Spectacular scenery and spectacular people. Nice shot of the moose.
