NGC3718, one of my favorites, but..... I wish I had the dark skies, equipment and processing skill to give this galaxy the justice it deserves.
Looks like a Christmas ornament to me. Over 16 hours on this and its medioker at best : (

As you say a tough target but you have gotten some good detail - nice job.

That's such a cool looking object. I have never imaged it, but you sure have some really nice detail on it.

Have you tried cooling down the WB just a bit? It seems just a bit too warm. Cooling it down will also brighten it up a bit more too and maybe pull out a bit more fine detail.

A challenging target, and I like the detail you have managed to to coax out. I've never imaged this area, but I think this would be pushing the limits on my rig. Well done.
