I foresee some potential issues trying to smoke and drink through that helmet :) I like the miniature bottles on the ground.

I'd be interested in seeing your setup for this image (a diagram?). The lighting appears to me to be very precise for the effect you wanted to achieve. Nicely done.

oh c'mon! where's your imagination? 🤣 the mini bottles and blunt both came from another toy set.

you're hilarious. i'll take a pic of the setup, but you might as well throw the precise lighting idea out right now.

there was a ulanzi mini tube light sitting in the sand box behind and to the side of the last set of walls. i locked in the shutter button on the cable release so the camera kept taking photos and left my hands free to hold stuff. i used a can of atmosphere aerosol and squirted it through the arches/doorways and held a godox led panel set to blue light and covered with a paper towel above and to the right of the figure to mimic moonlight.

for the cigarette light i dropped the led panel light and waved a little led bead light around. then i photoshopped the blue light led panel image together with 3 of the cigarette light images. and i knocked the figure over while doing it was a one and done session. no retakes without starting over from the beginning.

Very creative!
thanks jim.

Thanks....not at all what I expected. Sounds a bit like light-painting but with multiple exposures.....and a bit of luck. ;)

here's the behind the scenes look of the lighting. the led panel was one shot. i just wanted the blue light to light the dio and barely light the market stands inside of the small building. the little led bead was like light painting. the mini light tube stayed put throughout. it was just there to light up the area behind the clone trooper. the tube light is by ulanzi. relatively cheap considering and really great for lighting small pieces.

behind the scenes is above. most of my photos are made with some help from whiskey and bad decisions.

lol, great job, pepper, I love your creative thought going into the photo.

Oliver
