North East Fall 2017..

I have been traveling with my wife for the last few weeks in Spain and thought I would come home to the usual blast of beautiful color we see here in the northeast about this time. I must say it's been pretty dull... However I have managed to find a few isolated pockets .
Here are a few recent Fall 2017 images.

#1 is where I farm my Lily shots.. Harriman State Park
One tree was yellow so I worked that, the fall lilies are always neat when they turn purple.

#2 is an area in the Catkskills called the Blue Hole

#3 is looking in the opposite direction from where I took #2, the scene changes dramatically and you get these beautiful moss covered rocks that turn electric green.

More to come...
Hope everybody is getting something.
All comments welcome and thanks for viewing regards,

Great set Dean. I think the first is my favorite, just do to the abstractness (is that a word?) of the lilies against the reflection of the tree. I like the second a lot too, but I'm wondering if cropping off some of that bottom rock might make it even stronger.

Peaceful shots. I wish I had something like this close to home. San Gabriel river perhaps? Guess I'll have to go look.

Hey Dean,

What super cool shots! I like all of these, and I was certainly drooling over them. You sure have me wanting to get back to the east coast for some fall photos!

Dean, very nice images all. My favorites are #2, and #3, nicely done.

It's been dull upstate as well. Hopefully we'll check it out this week.

Very nice set Dean - I especially like the second one with the almost dreamy look to the water and the fallen leaves.
