Playa de Gueirua was one of the locations that I wanted to visit. The sea stacks just look like something out of a Sci Fi fantasy. Like many of the coves and beaches in this part of Northern Spain you need to hike in and then make your way down a cliff face. This location has a path and a tiny hand written sign pointing to the beach but it does not appear on the Michelin large scale maps of the area so it is only photographers in the know that visit. On my two visits I met nobody. On this visit the sea was incredibly calm and the light was flat and it was raining but the views were still terrific
One more beach to visit Playa del Silencio. I made my way down onto the water's edge but the tide was too high to see the rock ridges and the sea was flat calm.
