White walled church captured in full summer daylight, sun behind me. Yellow filter en 0,5 stop over-exposed in post. I really enjoy what contrast midday can do when processed in B&W. Besides, I'd rather sleep instead of jumping out of bed 4 AM to capture the golden hour...

Good eye for your B&W shooting. Most of us shoot color and then try to see what it looks like in B&W. You knew what you wanted before shooting this.

Ha ha, totally get the not wanting to jump out of bed at 4am. If I am traveling, then I can do that. But when I am at home, I am usually processing photos until 2am, so waking up at 4 or 5am get's to be a problem for me.

A yellow filter was my most used filter when I was using B&W film.
