Old Tree at Red Rocks

This tree has been at Red Rocks Park for the 50+ years I have lived in Denver. Part of the tree survives as other part slowly die off year after year.

Never quite giving up entirely. In an urban setting this might have been torn out years ago but here we get to see new shapes in the tree's growth when it's left alone. Quite distinctive.
