Shooting at Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley NP is always a treat. Not sure if this image meets the requirements of an "Abstract" but I submit anyway for comments and criticisms.

Abstract is anything you want it to be 
It's not just a dune - it's a dune without footprints all over it! Nice light angle to highlight the ripples.

Like the contrast between the ripples in shade and the smooth surface in the sun. Not having to deal with the footprints - that is the icing on this.

Very cool Mike! I sure like the lines in this. This a really nice shot of mesquite dunes,and I don’t see any foot prints in the sand!
I would say it should be a tighter shot with less recognitionof what it is would be needed for it to be an Abstract. I would put it in the Landscape forum myself, but if it says Abstract to you, then go with how it’s speaking to you.
