I like this image. I never pass by the Cook's Chasm parking area when going either direction on 101 without stopping.

But I hate you - you don't want to know how many images I have taken of water splashing on that hole in the basalt without getting one like this. :oops:

Love it, and I too have spent a couple evenings there trying for a shot but nothing like this.

That is a really cool take! The shutter speed works really well between the dreamy incoming waves lit up by the sunset and the falls. I think the image works very well with the bright area at the top, but the bright white mat draws my eye up and out a little bit too easily.

Agree with the comments. It’s a really nice image - colors, water flow and composition. I’d have taken a bit more of the sky here.

I passed by this place twice and both times it was low tide :(
